Packed and Ready!
My trip to Ethiopia is imminent!
Donations are packed, passport is ready, and a negative COVID test is in hand! The past few days have been a whirlwind.
I’m really excited to tell you all about my trip and show pictures - be on the lookout for that in the next few weeks!
But for now, a sweet update on my Lucy. She helped me organize, pack, weigh, and re-pack some of our totes full of donations for the new school program that we are helping to start. As we packed these school supplies, Lucy cried because she wanted to go with me so badly. Her heart is so precious.
As we fit the crayons and composition notebooks in like a puzzle, we talked about the children that will use them and dreamed of what our future ministries will look like with the children that live around us in West Africa. She has ideas for Bible clubs that could meet in our home and she’s thinking of ways to teach kids how to share the Gospel with their friends. She is so excited to get her feet on the ground and serve!
I’m so thankful for our kids - for their hearts and their flexibility. And I’m so thankful for this life that allows us to talk about eternal things all the time.
And I’m really thankful that the next time I leave the country, those kiddos are coming too!
Would you pray this week for:
the Gospel to SPREAD!
our team’s mental and emotional transition to Ethiopia
WISDOM as we make decisions about the school program
growing relationships with our Ethiopian partners
health and safety - strength and stamina
